Phase 2
This is the phase where you are now restricting the type of foods you eat as well and the number of calories you consume in a day, and as per Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches ebook, you will consume no more than 500 daily.
Now you can maintain this phase for 21 days or for 41 days depending on which path you have chosen to take. During this time period you will continue to take your daily HCG injection.
*The last three days of this phase you will stop taking the injections*
You will continue your 500 calorie a day diet during these last three days even though you aren't taking the injections. This prepares your body for Phase 3.
Please remember that if you are following Dr. Simeons protocol, the
approved foods and calorie intake is very specific. This is a very low carbohydrate, zero fat, high protein diet. No Cheating!
When planning your meals please remember that you cannot combine your servings. This means you can't save up all your meat servings of the day and have an extra large portion. Also, don't eat the same item twice in the same day or two days in a row. We don't want your body to get used to a pattern.
Meats:
2 Servings a day 100 grams each
- Eggs are acceptable (NOT FRIED) 1 whole egg + 2 egg whites
Fruits:
2 servings a day. (Be sure to follow the approved foods list)
Vegetables:
2 servings a day
- 1 serving = 2 cups (again be sure to follow the approved foods list)
Bread:
2 servings a day
- 1 serving = 1 Melba Toast or Grissini Bread stick
Water:
Minimum 64oz of water a day!
Do not skimp on your water, this is one of the most important parts to this diet, there needs to be enough water to make this diet work.
